Understanding what gardeners want and meeting those needs is a key focus for Vitax this year as it continues to meet the demand for specialist products and eye-catching point of sale material.

2020 will see the expansion of the Q4 range as well as the launch of new lawn care products and additions to leading pest control brand, Nippon.

To support the new lines, visitors to Glee 2019 will be taken on a visual journey of how a combination of striking packaging, in-demand products and promotional merchandise can help drive sales and increase gardener knowledge.

Taking centre stage and to showcase new point of sale materials, will be Vitax’s specialist feed range. Comprising of nine feeds, including Acer Feed, Clematis Feed, Olive Tree and Rose Food, the products have helped gardeners choose the right product for the right plant – making it easier for both the consumer and garden centres.

Mark Butler, national sales manager at Vitax, says: “A new generation of gardeners is driving the trend for specialist feeds.

“Located right next to the plant, these feeds encourage a quick purchase decision, leading to a linked sale of plant and feed. 

“Simple and clear point of sale material is crucial, but so is providing the right type of product in the right packaging so it can be displayed both in and outdoors.

“However, whilst there will be a focus on feeds at Glee this year, the point of sale material and packaging applies across all our brands, enabling gardeners to feel confident they are choosing the right garden care product, which is essential.”
