Vitax supports the Secret Garden's 10-year anniversary at Glenfield Hospital

October marks ten years since work began on the Secret Garden at the Glenfield Hospital in Leicester.

What started as the restoration of a Victorian walled garden is now a place where patients, staff, visitors, anyone who needs it, can step outside, spend time in nature and find some calm during difficult days.

That is down to the collective efforts of so many people working together: volunteers, staff, supporters, donors, partner organisations, contractors, and many more.

Year on year, they have given their time and resource to create and care for the garden. The work they all do matters. In a busy hospital, having a quiet green space to go to can make a real difference, whether you're a patient, a member of staff between shifts, or family waiting for news.

Vitax has supported the garden for a number of years and has got to know the team along the way. It has been a pleasure to see how far the garden has come.

We were pleased to sponsor t-shirts for the Secret Garden's 10-year anniversary.

To every volunteer who has given their time over the past ten years: thank you, and congratulations.
