WEEE Compliance StatementAll Vitax products that are subject to the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive are compliant with the WEEE marking requirement. These products are marked with the "crossed-out wheelie bin" WEEE symbol (shown right) in accordance with European Standard EN50419.
The above symbol on the product and/or its packaging means that the product must not be disposed of within your other household waste. Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose of waste equipment by handing it over to a designated collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment.
The separate collection and recycling of your waste equipment at the point of disposal will help conserve natural resources and ensure that the product is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment.
