Vitax’s partnership with children’s hospice charity – Greenfingers - has got off to a great start as spring gets underway, with its charity packs of Vitax Q4 All Purpose Plant Food (Vitax Q4) hitting the shelves.
The special 2.5kg packs are now available in all garden centres and nurseries which stock Vitax Q4 and are proving popular with gardeners.
Vitax announced Greenfingers as its main charity for 2025 at the end of last year, and for every box sold, Vitax will donate 25p.
Working with hospices throughout the UK, Greenfingers aims to provide all life-limited children, their families, and carers, with therapeutic gardens and outdoor spaces to enjoy and spend precious time together away from the bedside.
The magical outdoor spaces, provide a safe and protective environment, as well as places where therapies, play and precious memories can be created.
This year the charity celebrates 25 years of creating inspiring gardens for life-limited children and will be at BBC Gardeners World Live 2025 with a specially designed anniversary show garden – ‘The Greenfingers Charity Anniversary Garden’ which has been designed by Pip Probert.
To date, almost 70 inspirational gardens have been completed with more in the design stage. Vitax’s charity packs are one of a number of fundraising activities undertaken by the charity, which includes the annual ‘Garden Re-Leaf Day’.
