SSD Microbial Fertilisers
These high quality fertilisers are designed to both feed the grass plants and stimulate microbial activity in the soil and improve the overall growing environment. The inclusion of humates in the mix stimulates microbes to create a living organic soil and this activity, together with a combination of organic and inorganic nutrients, helps develop more substantial root systems, improves plant colour and vigour and reduces the effects of stress due to weather extremes and/or adverse growing conditions.
Microbial fertilisers are available in a range of analyses:
8-0-0
A high quality nitrogenous fertiliser with a single particle round sand carrier that also contains magnesium and iron to improve turf colour. (spring and summer use).
8-0-0 (iron-free)
Iron-free formulation for spring and summer use
8-0-6
Recommended for golf and bowling greens. Has added seaweed which acts as a natural turf tonic.
2-0-10 (Microbial Potash Plus)
Can be used all year round but particularly valuable from autumn to early spring when it helps maintain potash levels during slow growth and high rainfall.
