Seaturf

The Vitax Seaturf range is produced from the seaweed “laminaria digitara” which is harvested from renewable seaweed beds in the clear Atlantic water off Finistere and is considered to be the finest of seaweeds for use on sports and amenity turf.

It has been specially formulated for sports turf and delivers the following benefits:

  • Improved root development
  • Better resistance to drought conditions
  • Increased photosynthesis
  • Good turf colour without rapid growth
  • Increased soil microbial activity which releases the nutrients needed for growth

Seaturf Superconcentrate

Useful for promoting early season root growth and enhancing the establishment of seedling growth by stimulating photosynthesis. It improves the development of turf without “soft growth”.

It also promotes the release of nutrients in the soil by increasing microbial activity and improves drought and disease resistance.

Application

As a maintenance treatment, apply every 6 ~ 8 weeks during growing season

100ml in 3 ~ 9 litres of water per 100m² (10 ltrs in 300 ~ 900 litres of water per hectare)

Seaturf Iron Extra (6% Fe / 3% N)

The extra iron in this formulation gives a fast “green-up”, usually within 24 hours, which will normally lasts for 4 ~ 6 weeks.  It is ideal for use 3 ~ 4 days prior to a major tournament or event to improve the appearance of the sward. The added nitrogen aids recovery from wear.

The natural liquid seaweed extract stimulates the soil biomass and development of the root system. It helps release “locked up” nutrients in the soil and improves drought and disease resistance.

Seaturf Complete    12+0+6

The seaweed component stimulates and improves root development and chlorophyll production while the nitrogen and potash provide rapid response to aid wear recovery and resistance to drought.
